梁天琦於「捍衛民主・重奪主權」集會演講（中文版在下方）

On 5th August, Edward Leung Tin-kei and other disqualified candidates for the upcoming Legco election appeared in the rally organised by Hong Kong National Party, and Leung delivered a 20-minute long speech.

The speech was divided into 4 parts, namely Politics, Government, Revolution and Dream.

Politics (00:00-04:12)
Politics is about the distribution of power. The sovereignty of Hong Kong does not belong to Beijing nor to the Hong Kong Government, but to the Hong Kong people.
Starting a revolution means that we have to take back the rights that we deserve from the authoritarian government.

Government (04:13-06:13)
The government has military force and the authority, and what the government says is law is law. The nature of Government is violent.
There is no need to talk about virtue and morality when being confronted by the government. We have to overthrow the government by all means necessary, even if we have to take dishonourable actions.

Revolution (06:14-11:37)
Revolution is a fundamental redistribution of the power. People no longer ask for a reform of the government, but to change the social structure in a bottom-up way. The people should start to follow the ideal but not a particular leader. And success will be achieved when we become the majority of society one day.

Dreams (11:38-16:15)
Edward revealed his road to pursue dreams, illustrated the difference he made in a year and also encouraged the audience to pursue their dreams.
Even though we seem to be in the dark, the dawn will come soon.

八月五日，梁天琦與其他被選舉管理委員會禁止參選的參選人於香港民族黨的「捍衛民主・重奪主權」集會中演說，發表長達二十分鐘的發言。

梁天琦發言共分成四部份：政治、政府、革命、夢想。

政治(00:00-04:12)
政治是權力的分配，香港的主權不在北京或香港政府，而在香港人民。
而革命是要奪回在獨裁的社會中，人民應有的權利。

政府(04:13-06:13)
政府擁有武力、權力，政府所說的法律就是法律，政府的本質就是一個暴力的機構。
面對無賴的政府不須再講仁義道德，即使成為無賴亦要用盡必要的方法去推翻政府。

革命(06:14-11:37)
革命是社會權力分配根本性的改變，人民不再要求政府改革，而是下而上地扭轉社會的權力結構。
要追隨理念而非追隨個人，要成為社會上的主流，終有一日會成功

夢想(11:38-16:15)
講述梁天琦個人追求夢想之路，一年前後的反差，勸勉眾人追逐夢想。
即使當下看似黑暗，但黎明一定會到來。
